Chase Gardiner is a cinematographer and sometimes editor based in Edmonton Alberta. It started about 10 years or so ago, Chase has always had a camera in hand shooting something, weather it be his friends action sport stunts or their new band. After graduation with a diploma in Media Arts he realized his passion was behind a camera and he began focusing his attention there. Over the past six years as a freelance cinematographer Chase has had the privilege of working on many local projects including short and feature length films, documentaries, commercials, series, corporate videos and music videos.
Through this experience Chase has had the privilege to work with many of the digital cinema cameras around today including RED, Blackmagic, Sony, Panasonic, Canon and GoPro. This knowledge and experience led him into teaching video production classes for the Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA) in 2012. Durning his spare time Chase is an all around sports fan and can often be found hanging out with friends watching the game or out on the trails rollerblading with his dog, of course usually with camera in hand. On those kick back and relax days he’s usually sitting right behind his computer screen playing around in the graphic and print design world.
