SOMETHING IS WRONG

LOGLINE: In this romantic story a career oriented young man meets a career oriented young woman. First they find each other useful only for promoting each one’s career. But further on they find much more in each other and their life priorities change.

SYNOPSIS:

Policeman Alan Swan just started working. His partner Jim Trent helps him around. They immediately engage in action and catch a thief. It turns out that Alan got his education from some organization that is much more serious than the Police Academy. They face the police precinct Chief Captain Walker – unpleasant guy – and get an assignment. Having arrived to the place they find a dead body and soon after that Alan meets Stacy – a criminal column journalist. They agree to meet. In fact Stacy does not want to go, suspecting Alan to be the killer, but her editor-in-chief Ronald makes her go. There she gets a lead and starts chasing it. When her article is published Walker is angry and starts investigation. But Alan can’t help meeting her again and their meeting is recorded. During a regular city patrol Alan and Jim start chasing a stolen car and it ends up in shooting. One of the policemen is wounded and Alan first takes him away from the line of fire, then Alan takes him to a hospital. Stacy and Ronald hear police radio conversations and it looks like Stacy cares about Alan. FBI agents warned by Alan got the killer and promise him a position in New York. He also asks his boss to help Stacy with a job in The New York Times. At Jim’s son wedding Walker approaches Alan and asks him to be a witness of Stacy’s intrusion in the police investigation during court hearings. Alan overreacts, calls Walker a brainless asshole and quits. Alan meets Stacy one more time. Their relationship reached its peak but they have to separate. Alan knows that, Stacy does not. Two weeks later she is invited to The New York Times. First she wants to talk to Alan but fails to find him in the police precinct. Jim tells her that Alan is in some provincial town. She has to choose between New York and that town. Until the last moment she is sure that she will go to New York but passing the town in a train she gets out of the train still not sure about her choice. There she finds out that she does not know who Alan really is. She is ready to run away but he catches her and tells her of his love. And this love makes him finally open up to her.
