Adam Gentry: Screenwriter, script consultant and story analyst in Tucson, Arizona.

I’m a script reader/story analyst for a production company and a screenplay competition. I live in Arizona where there are little opportunities for local work, but I stay busy. I have a tv pilot entered into a couple competitions myself, and as I wait for the right people to see it, I’m working on creating the first season arc and further episodes.

I highly enjoy reading books on the craft of screen writing. It has helped me in my reading/analysis endeavors, as well as my own growth as a writer. While I don’t currently have any professional credits, I do like to think that someday I will. I stay positive and take criticism with stride and look at every failure as an opportunity to grow.

I need to come in here and update a lot of stuff. One thing I want to share here is my website. Www.reviewthisfs.com It's a podcast I started with a couple friends. We review movies, try to touch on writing and story and we have a lot of crude humor. We are not politically correct. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Hey, thanks for the add. It's nice to meet another Screenwriter in Tucson.

Keep your head in it by keeping a notebook in your work desk drawer. Several times a day, whenever there's a lull or a break, write a few lines. I did it when i worked full-time at Boeing. Sometimes works better than having too much time to ruminate and noodle. Just get it down. Revising on weekends becomes much easier.

Well... I'm 32 and my co-writer and I live in Tucson. I am a graduate from Full Sail University with a Masters in Creative Writing for film. I wrote a screenplay in that program which I refuse to let see the light of day until I can tear it down to the bone. I am a recent reject from the Script Pipeline 2013 Screen writing competition, but we did make it to the second round of judging, so I guess that is cool. I'm just looking to get an edge in with an agent or management company that is willing to read our screenplay. We have a lot of stories to tell and according to feedback received from the contest, we have great formatting and structure. In short, we are pushing hard and setting up meetings to try and get our stories out to the world.

Who else is anxiously waiting to see their names posted as finalists in the 2013 Script pipeline screen writing competition? I've run out of nails to bite. But while I sit and wait, I write.

Our first feature length script is done and under review. The query letter and synopsis are ready. All we need now is an agent to help us sell it.

That is fantastic. I love the logline. It gave me a lot of intense ideas. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.
