Jenny Thomas

Born in Detroit, Michigan, I am currently pursuing a Master's in Media Studies and Film in New York City. Exploring contradictions and truths in the everyday, whether it be political, dark humor, or magical realism are some artistic elements I want to engage with in the medium. I hope to make documentaries, experimental narrative films that push the boundaries of conventional cinema, as well as music videos and video installations. I want to continue developing as a visual storyteller always. I am excited to see where cinema is heading, and I personally work with HD video cameras, 16mm film, and Super 8. I am available for work in multiple positions and can wear many hats at once.
