Laura Jean Hocking is a Memphis filmmaker best known for producing, directing, and editing several award-winning films including ANTENNA, AUTOMUSIK CAN DO NO WRONG, “How to Skin a Cat” and GOOD GRIEF. She has edited projects with directors Robert Gordon, Craig Brewer, and Morgan Jon Fox. She most recently edited the documentary feature JUVENILE, which explores how communities across the country are remaking their justice systems. Since 2004, she has had a production company, Oddly Buoyant Productions, with her husband, writer/director Chris McCoy.
