My name is Adam Shaw . I am an aspiring visual story-teller with a passion for writing screenplays, editing, and directing movies. I have started writing stories since I was 5 years old and making short videos since I was 7 years old, and have continued to create such stories and videos to this point. My future goal is to work alongside an equally passionate cast and crew to build numerous feature length films of various genres with compelling stories. The directors I look up to the most would be Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher. Other hobbies I enjoy would be producing music, graphic design, poetry, physical training, and playing sports.

Director/Editor/Actor For the (Mission High School Ministry) Music Video Contest of my senior year in high school, I collaborated with my small group for the final time to create a finale to our short music video streak; bringing home the Best Overall Video yet again. We thought that another fourth wall break involving the theme from the Disney movie "Holes" would best satisfy our final run at this contest.
The story follows a small group of friends who had created a music video the previous year so awfully, that they have been sent to prison specifically for that reason. In their time of sorrow and regret, a miracle happens. The prison warden offers them all a chance to turn things around and be freed. He tells them that their next music video idea lies in the buried in the desert. And their journey to search for redemption begins...

Director/Editor/Actor For my sophomore year in the (Mission Church) High School Music Video Contest, this was my second entry, which actually took home the Best Overall Video. I had gathered my group of friends to work on this concept of putting our contest endeavors into the project itself. In a strange way, breaking the 4th wall as far as the story goes. And our song idea was the horrifying classic by Michael Jackson.
The story is that our group of high school buddies have already decided to enter into this music video contest, but when the time comes to have the video ready for entry, the boys realize that they have nothing at all. The leader of the small group recruits one of boys (That's me!) to go out and search for a possible song idea that will help them make the video. Will he find the idea? How does the song "Thriller" tie into all of this anyway?

Director/Actor The very first official mediocre project I've ever worked on. Me and a group of friends decided to enter into a music video contest at our local church.
Based on the song by The Lonely Island - "Threw It On The Ground" it goes through a strange man's day, as he encounters a number of different people who offer him ordinary things. His paranoia of "the system" causes him to react in wacky ways.
