About Robert

As a youth, I remember enjoying family outings to the drive-in theatre or the Cinema. In my first screening of Fiddler on the Roof, the guy next to me asked if I had seen it before because I was humming to all the songs as if I had. I found musicals captivating and inspiring. Often times, I could be found recreating scenes from films or television in drawings, song or miniature models. While studying theatrical stage design and film history in college, I spent a semester in London immersed in British theater. I met and spent some time with Ray Harryhausen talking about his work and life.

Following graduation, I landed a job with a Navy contractor in their graphic arts department creating technical illustrations and air brushed renderings, among other things. After a stint of building 3-dimensional architectural models with a company, where I built the exterior model for the Back to the Future Ride in Orlando, FL., I returned to that contractor to be immersed in digital graphics and then to digital video production. Stepping in to every aspect: story boarding, camera operations, editing, sound mixing, voice overs, motion graphics and 3-D animations.

It is within this context that I turned my attention to scriptwriting. Deciding to create stories with God honoring values like love, forgiveness, honor, compassion, and encouragement. There are enough film choices that are filled with hate and evil. I want to see films that make a life changing difference, so why not write them?
