Expand commentHi Shawn. Welcome to the neighborhood. You didn't have "actor" in your profile, but if you are doing any gigs (theatre or music) in town, let me know. My new short play "Well Bred" is getting a world premiere at the Vintage Theatre in Aurora on Oct. 4. You can get the details at my web site, www.patrickdorn.com. There's a group there that is really supportive of new works and performers.
Hey, Patrcik! I've done the classes, and I'm good at making the face talk, but I don't have time after my A1 and A2 priorities. Thanks for the invite, though. I perform, rap and sing, every weekend at EL CHARRITO, 2104 Larimer St, downtown, Denver.
I just created a new blog for my play reviews, to separate them from the playwriting/fiction writing page. My play reviews are now at www.TheBestSeatinTown.net and my playwriting/fiction page is still www.patrickdorn.com...

In the Wild West, a lovestruck schoolboy visits a mercantile store to purchase a gun in order to kill his rival and impress a pretty girl. The storekeep’s unusually eager endorsement of the plan causes the youth to reconsider the consequences of his actions. At approximately seven minutes, this breezy sketch contains deeper themes and a canny perspective on the consequences of violence. Ideal for forensics/duo interpretation. This will be a world premiere, and my third play to be produced by ONST. Check out my web site at www.patrickdorn.com for more information, and/or to request a FREE reading copy.
Hey Patrick, this is Julie from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Authoring & Playwriting to Your Stage, as it fits much better there. Let me know if you have any questions, and all the best to you!
My name is Patrick Dorn. I'm a playwright, theater critic and fiction writer based in Lakewood, CO. I'm a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. I've written and directed numerous children's plays, primarily for Colorado ACTS, a local drama school.
G'day Patrick! That's an impressive track record.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
RB
