Perry Goldman

I'm a 40-year-old US Army veteran who is currently attending school for a double-major in Communication Studies and Interactive Multimedia. While my stage and film acting stopped back in the 90s when I was in College for the first time, I spent 12 years as a roleplayer in several government jobs. Mostly, on paper, I was an interrogator. During the last six years working for the government, I became their equivalent of an acting coach as I taught kids fresh out of high school and basic training how to sincerely and convincingly portray a variety of roles in order to win over their human sources of intelligence.
Now that I'm back in college on the G.I. Bill, I made some friends who pulled me into Campus MovieFest. While our first film didn't win a jury award, my screenplay for the Google Infinite Deviation contest was a winner and my first movie, produced by Google, will be released in Fall of 2015.

Writing-wise, although I draw a lot of inspiration from video games and manga, my stories are feminist in theme with diverse characters of differing backgrounds and ability groups. Instead of just writing roles that have already been done and sticking underrepresented groups in them, I instead write roles that the world has never seen before for actors that need a chance to stand out.
