Costas Kyriakides was born in Famagusta, Cyprus in 1962. Living and working as a professional photographer in Ayia Napa and the wider Famagusta area, owning a successful photographic business established since the early 90’s. Costas has nurtured his passion for photography and allowed it to grow into the world of Cinematography
Costas is the sole inventor of the Coskyr Steadycam system, devolved over the past 2 years and already proving to be a great piece of equipment for the filming process.
Costas was awarded the Fellowship distinction of the Master Photographers Association (FMPA) and also Fellowship of The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (FSINWP).
In the previous years throughout his career, Costas has also achieved the Associate ship of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), the Associate ship of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (ABIPP), the Associate ship of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (ASWPP), the Associate ship of the British Professional Photographers Association (ABPPA), and the award of Excellence of the Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (EFIAP).

As a member of CPS (Cyprus Photographic Society - Nicosia) Costas has win several of its competitions and he is active member of the Society until today.
