Joe Chapo

Pleased to meet you all! I'm Joe Chapo. I'm an aspiring screenwriter, director, videographer, novelist, animator, and graphic artist; but above all, I think of myself as a storyteller in all that I do.

I'm still relatively new to the field of digital media, but I am a quick learner and I've had a number of great learning and work opportunities over the past few years. I have experience working with Canon (XA10) and JVC (the GY-HM series) high-definition video hardware; in terms of software, I have experience working with much of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Encore, After Effects, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver) as well as Avid Media Composer, 3Ds Max, Final Cut Pro 7, QuarkXPress, and MGI PhotoSuite.

Within the next few years I hope to be in an established full-time position developing video projects for a studio, cable station or other company; as for the long run, I hope someday to work in the film industry as a writer, director and editor, and I'm currently brainstorming a few film projects that I might develop out of my own pocket.
