I am free-spirited author, blogger, volunteer and enthusiast, with a mission to write, help others through writing, and make a living while writing.
Born and raised in Chicago, I have been a native Chicagoan for over eighteen years. In 2006, I published my first book entitled Heartland, when I was eleven years old. Subsequently, I founded my own self-publishing company, Rainbows Publishing Inc., a company devoted to helping inner-city youth pursue their dreams of writing and authoring a reality (and whatever other dreams they may wish to pursue). In 2010, I subsequently published my debut novel, Secrets of the Untold Spirits: Part One—The Soul Seeker, when I was only fifteen years old.
I have been published in Solstice Literary Magazine, Keystrokes: Volume III, and The Young Voices Foundation's Oh! The Stories They Tell! national anthology.
I currently attend Emerson College where I am attaining a BFA in Writing, Literature and Publishing. I have worked extensively with both children and publishing: including Beacon Press, 826 Boston, Jumpstart, and volunteering abroad in Tanzania. I continue to write about relevant topics, and when I am not busy writing or blogging about writing, I enjoy spending time with friends and looking away from the camera whenever my picture is taken.
Unique traits: Basketball, bowling, voiceover.
