John Borland began working in entertainment at the age of 8, starting a puppet theater. He went on to play Grandpa Joe in the East Coast tour of Telly and The Good News Casters. After studying journalism and acting at the University of South Florida, a deep economic recession sent him to law school. He managed to work his way through teaching advanced cinematography and special effects. He spent 10 years in the legal field before once again entering the entertainment industry as a writer, actor, legal consultant, and finally producer.
