About J.J.

J.J. Crowne is a relative newcomer to screen-acting after retiring from a 30-year career as a criminal trial lawyer. For most of his adult life, he’s also been a voice-over artist and singer/songwriter with international acclaim for his original music. His country-rock single “Only Time” rose to the U.S. Top 30 Country Radio Airplay Chart in 2013 and his self-titled album remained in the International Top 10 Folk Radio Airplay Chart for over 2 months.
Within the past two years, J.J. has appeared in over 80 film and television productions - including recurring roles on “Graceland” (USA Network), “Every Witch Way” (Nickelodeon) and “Bajo El Mismo Cielo” (Telemundo). He currently appears as co-star in 5 indie films shot this year in Miami, in supporting roles in two new TV series, as co-star of a VISA Pre-paid Card national TV spot, star of national TV spot for Nature's sleep Pillows, as well as narrator of an audiobook (“Managing Bubbie”) with TV legends Linda Lavin and Gavin McLeod, and as a British character voice in a new exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
