About Paul

I'm an aspiring Cinematographer currently based in Austin, TX. My time behind the camera began back in high school making skiing and snowboarding videos with my friends. Since then, I've expanded my focus beyond action sports to include narrative cinema, documentaries, and commercial production.

I recently graduated with a Film Studies degree from Keene State College in NH, and promptly relocated to Austin in search of a new home with a rich film community. Since then, I've been fortunate enough to have worked as a 2nd AC, 1st AC, Camera Operator, and even Director of Photography on several music videos, shorts, features, and some branded content. I'm grateful for opportunities to prove myself and test my knowledge as a DP, but right now I'm more looking to learn the craft the humble, old fashioned way; by learning from those wiser and more knowledgeable than myself.

Most of my film-making experience is in the camera department, but I'm eager to gain experience in every aspect of production. I'm available as a freelance cinematographer, camera operator, camera assistant, photographer, or PA.
