About Jean-Pierre

Jean-Pierre Yerma is a proud first-generation Australian actor, raised in Western Sydney by migrant parents from Southern France. He graduated from screen acting at NIDA and has appeared on stage and in film. His career started in 2006 where he worked on the Feature Film, Happy Feet (Directed by George Miller). He has worked intensely in the entertainment industry since 2014. His love for the performing arts has led him to work across an extensive range of projects in Theatre, Feature Films and on Television.

Most recently Jean-Pierre was one of the actor’s involved in Australia’s first Diversity Showcase sponsored by Screen Australia and the Equity Foundation, where the selected 10 actors came from all over Australia to perform live on stage in a one-night performance in front of 300 industry professionals.

When not working, you'll either find him spending time with his beloved family and partner or in the garden, swimming, watching football or navigating his way around Sydney to catch up with friends or a show. But more than likely, he'll be pursuing or working on his next project.
