Granollers, Barcelona. Carla Roda was born and raised into a family of artists and surrounded by the theater and cinema worlds. At the age of 18 she entered the Ramon Llull University to start her BA Degree in Cinema & TV. She graduated in 2011 with honors and two Film Festival nominations for a couple of her short films: "Tristesa" Sitges Film Festival, 2011 & "Extraños" Premi Solé i Tura, 2010. As soon as she graduated she devoted herself to her career as a producer, editor and photographer not only in Spain but also Internationally (France, Canada & Australia). In 2014 Carla decided to delve into her knowledge of Directing and Producing and moved to Los Angeles to study her Master Degree in Directing & Producing at the New York Film Academy. To date she has worked in 40 projects as a freelancer, including short films, music videos, commercials & events. She has also been selected and is part of the Dynamita Productions Mentorship Program 2015.
