Experienced audio engineer with well-equipped sound cart: Tascam HS-P82/RC-F82 8-Channel/10-Track Field Recorder, Edirol R4Pro, Tascam HD-P2 and Azden FMX-42 Field Mixer, 5 Senhnheiser EW112P wireless lavs, 4 Countryman B3 wired lavs, Countryman Isomax2 lav mic, 2 AT4053 Indoor dialogue boom mics, AT4071 long shotgun boom mic, AT897 short shotgun (for camera-mounting), AT4022 stereo XY mic, and numerous cables and adapters, 2 boom poles, C-Stands, Sound Blankets, and a rolling boom stand.
Experience as production mixer and post sound editor for local indie shorts as well as commercial shoots. My Mac-based post sound studio is equipped with FCP/STP. I am an accomplished dialogue editor with ADR mixing and editing experience as well, and sound effects editing (with access to a large library) as well. I can also do simple scoring using Garage Band loops and Sony Cinescore software
I also do live sound reinforcement for small events. I have a Yamaha MG166CX mixer, EV ELX115P powered PA speakers (1000 watts each!), four stage monitors, direct boxes, Shure Beta58's and SM57's, bass/kick mics, snake, etc. and can handle small bands, corporate and charity events (as well as the proverbial food and credit for the occasional struggling artist on a shoestring budget who's got a project I believe in).
I mainly work weekends and evenings out of the RTP area (9-5 IT job M-F), but will consider travel to Wilmington, Charlotte or Triad Area for appropriate compensation. My rates are very reasonable and satisfaction is always 100% guaranteed. I also do a certain amount of pro-Bono work for charity events and public service spots.
As a side craft, I do "behind-the-scenes" videography and documentary work with my Sony HXR-NX70 camera (rain/dust proof plus infrared capability.)
Plus, I have been acting for the past two years and relish the opportunity to hone my craft.
