Steve McGrath is a writer, actor and director.His full length play, the dark and bitter sweet comedy, “Leaves”, about three men celebrating their birthdays in the mysterious Australian bush, premiered on stage at the King St Theatre, Newtown, in November, 2014, in which he also played one the three lead roles; “Wilbur”. “Leaves” won Best Fringe Comedy award by Sydney Arts Guide in 2015.
Steve’s short film “The LSD Man”, which he wrote, directed, produced, edited and played the lead role, won the Best Film Award in the SF3 SmartFone Flick Fest of 2015. He also won the Best Actor Award for his comic/tragic role of the mysterious song and dance man who believes he is the love child of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
