Jamie is the Organist/GroupX Christian Rock Music Director at Saint Philip the Apostle Church in Cheektowaga, New York.
Jamie grew up in East Aurora, NY, a small town outside of Buffalo. He began playing music at a young age, banging on pots and pans in his parents kitchen at 6 months old.
Later, at age 7 he began formal piano lessons, which led to various opportunities throughout grade school accompanying choirs, Churches, and vocalists.
During this time Jamie was also involved in a great deal of acting through his school drama club.
After high school, Jamie studied at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where he earned a degree in Music, with a concentration in Piano, Organ, and Vocal.
He taught vocal music for several years, assisted in building a music program at an inner-city Buffalo school, and directed a theater throughout the Buffalo area.
He continued to act and direct theatrical productions in the Buffalo area, with several Music Director credits such as: "Grease," "The Wizard of Oz," "A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tale" (In which he also arranged the music for orchestra), "Aladdin," "High School Musical 2," "Rent," "Annie," "Once On This Island," and "Bare." He was also responsible for a regional showchoir "The AmeriKids."
His acting credits include "Hortensio" in "Shrew!," "Moonface Martin" in "Anything Goes", "Peewee Drummond" in "Meet Me in St. Louis," "Eeyore" in "A Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tale," as well as ensemble roles in several other productions.
He currently freelances as a keyboardist/organist/pianist throughout the state, most recently working with famed Doo-Wop groups such as "The Coasters," "The Reflections," and "The Edsels."
Jamie continues to seek out new and exciting opportunities in the entertainment industry as musician, music director, or actor.
Jamie is engaged to Brianna Snyder, and they have a son, Kendan, who is already proving to be quite musical himself---banging on those pots and pans much earlier than Jamie ever did.
Jamie thanks God for his talent, and looks forward to his next opportunity to share it with the world.
