Lol showreel, of course you meant that! Well I can explain a bit about what scenes I would like to have in it: My type is a strong, smart, slightly icey woman who could be from (Eastern) Europe but also American who has a questionable moral compass. Some ideas are lawyer, FBI, doctor, operative, single mom, teacher. The roles I love to play are the ones who seem to lead a perfect, well balanced life but underneath the surface have a darker secret or don't want to continue with this monotone life. Some expamples would be Gone girl, Dolls house (play by Ibsen), Veronika decides to die (novel by Paulo Coelho), Julianne Moore's character in The Others, Kill Bill. Yes, post a poem here or you could also pm it to me, if you like! I would love to read one!

Hi Clarissa, sounds intriguing! I am reading through my great-grandmother's works and came across this, as true of life today as 100 years ago when she wrote it... Midstream, Stagnation or What? Undated, Copyright Pending We’re drifting today in life’s channel Out past the middle of the stream, With so many things unaccomplished That we’ve no time left to dream. For we must grasp each precious moment, ‘Ere it swiftly slides away, For the things we would do are many And soon comes the end of day. A few years ago time seemes endless Haste we could not understand, Tho had we to-day of those hours Spent with so lavish a hand, We’d use time to better advantage, Do things instead of just dream, We’d have no regrets then while drifting To the opposite shore of the stream.

Find the thing you want to do, and in the doing of which you have pleasure that takes no account of labor, and then go to it.” I think this is splendid advice. I would have added just two words, “now, to-day.” So, as we’ve drifted along the channel of life, if we have lingered too long at the “Island of Lost Opportunities” and wandered aimlessly along its streets of “By and By,” let’s stop right now before we arrive at the house of “Never.” Let’s erode rocks of “Hesitation,” “Listlessness,” and “Discouragement,” so we may anchor safely at last in that quiet, beautiful harbor of the “Island of Success”.
