About Markeia

I am a goal-driven individual with a track record of delivering creative results and making executive decisions as a business minded filmmaker. I recently earned my M.F.A in Film Production at Full Sail University, with academic distinction as Cum Laude, and course director acknowledgment for excellent achievement in Directing Talent and On-set Film Production. I also earned my B.A in English Arts with a concentration in Cinema Studies from Hampton University.

I became an entertainment industry enthusiast in 2012, when I joined the Creative Minds Group as an intern for International Film Trust at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). In February 2016, I rejoined the Creative Minds Group at the Berlinale Film Festival, where I interned alongside the film market executives of IM Global. My work ethic served me well, as I have been offered to rejoin IM Global at the Cannes Film Festival this May.

I approach each of my obligations with a resourceful "Can Do" attitude, an eye for detail, and effective communication skills. I bring fresh positive energy to my work environment. Although I have the ability to work independently and manage, I possess the willingness to observe, learn, and adapt my work approach.

I aspire to inspire lives globally via creative media production. My ultimate goal as a creative professional is to become S.U.P.E.R W.O.M.A.N, Someone who supports and organizes Unique opportunities and efforts of Philanthropy, where Empowerment and Relationships around the World will Optimize and outreach our entertainment and Media sources to improve social Awareness and Natural consciousness. My philosophy to life is “Proper Preparation Promotes Productivity". Now that I have properly prepared myself, am I ready to take on a productive lifestyle.
