About Hank

Hank White is a film industry veteran with over forty years of experience as an Actor, Producer, Writer, Production Manager and Director. Hank is a member of Nova Scotia Native Council Zone 12, of Cree, Mi'kmaq, and Acadian ancestry. I started acting at age 10 at Pond Playhouse Halifax, Neptune Theatre Second Stage, Pier1 Theatre, Seaweed Theatre and Dream Productions. He started Hank White Productions in 1979 and was the first Casting Director in Nova Scotia from 1982 to 1992, He was a founding member of Film Nova Scotia the precursor to The Nova Scotia Film Development Corporation.
