So for one year, you're making good progress in my opinion..I am still nonunion and it has been a matter of choice sometimes and sometimes not..we're in the same boat you might say..just keep plugging away and avoid being taken advantage of, the best way you can.
actually you've only neen at it fo a few months, so you're doing better than most. Good luck
Thanks Martin. Good luck to you aswell
I'm trying to find an agent in the Massachusetts/Northern New England Area. Any pointers on how to find one?
We've found a lot of the MA agents focus mainly on modeling. Even with signing with them you need to self represent (then they still get the fee even if you found the casting). If you can get into one of the smaller NYC agencies and can drive for auditions you might find more luck.
I would just do a google search on New England agents. Coming from Montreal which is as close to Boston as parts of upstate NY is, you can find agents here for extra work and small acting parts: http:...

First off, I am easy to get along with and would love to help you with your stuff. I am a self-taught man, so I will probably start small. I will post more about this in the Job section. Second, I am aiming to also be a voice actor for comic dubs or something like that, but I'll explain that in the section later as well. Third, I can't wait to collab with you guys as well. Please contact me if you'd like to talk.
Dear LA actor friends! I will go to LA on Friday. Can't wait to get there and see that person who I love the BEST in the world! Hope to find a job there. I will go for an audit at an acting school AMAW on January 12nd. I hope everything will be OK. I believe in myself and will accomplish my dreams! It's time to change my life! Meet me in LA!
Good luck Sandor! Is my dream too! :)
Good Luck to you too Sandor! All the best in LA.
Hello I am an actor primarily and am trying to live off my art as best as I can. An art show was scheduled for March 2016 at the Montreal Art Center and eventually happened in June. I look forward to continued participation in the Montreal/Toronto Indie Film scene.
Welcome, Martin! Have you thought about posting a reel on your home page under AUDIO/VIDEO?

Absolutely agree with Shawn, Martin. Would love to see your work uploaded to your profile.
Just participated in my first web series and see this as a platform to get further exposure especially when more and more people watch shot films on their iphones and tablets.
Congrats Martin. Hey, its great to work. Regardless of how they distributing it. Good job. And agreed, web series ever growing in popularity.
Martin, think of it this way, you're participating in "the golden age of web series", like the middle 1950's to early 1960's were called "the golden age of television", and some of those shows are considered classics today! Congratulations on landing the gig.
I am primarily an actor/creative producer with a teaching day job to help pay the rent.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
