Matt recently won Best Director and Best TV Comedy for the TV show Companion at ITVFest. He wrapped two seasons as a writer and director on the Comedy Central sketch show Triptank, where he directed Amy Schumer, Keegan Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Nat Faxon, Andrew Dice Clay, Cheech Marin, Baron Davis, among others. Matt and writing/producing partner Nick Mouyiaris were the creators of the hit web comedy show Real Men, Real Issues on the Babelgum Network. They recently wrote the action-comedy feature The Drop, which is shooting in Australia next year and will be directed by Paul Middleditch. Matt got his start as an actor appearing in Grey’s Anatomy, General Hospital, CSI: Miami, Haunted, Agents of Shield, Secrets and Lies and the film Wilde Salome directed by Al Pacino. Matt hails from San Francisco and is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
