My storytelling started the day my parents brought my sister home. I wove tales of adoption & my “real family." For decades I honed my skills as a reporter & political speechwriter, where some accused me of writing fiction. With a front-row seat to important events, I wrote stories that made audiences laugh, cry & care. Now, as a professional PSA/video scriptwriter, I am taking the next step to TV and feature writer where I take audiences a further into the story with my fiction where I am no longer bound by facts. I specialize in older, mature characters who are forced to reinvent themselves using humor to navigate dramatic situations. My decades of experience writing vast amounts of copy on deadline as a newspaper reporter and speechwriter, my forte is dialogue and authentic, yet odd human behavior.
