Ermias Tilahun

Greetings everyone , My name is Ermias Tilahun I am originally from Ethiopia , Addis Ababa currently residing in Saint Louis , Missouri. I am majoring in Film Production class of 2018 and minoring in Entrepreneurship at Webster University. I am also pursing a certificate program in Leadership and Professional Development and Digital Commercial/Studio Photography. I have been in the photography business for almost five years and the film business for a year and a half. I love them both because they are art. Nowadays art is a massive and important form of communication wanted in the 21st Century. Media speaks a lot more than people do , media persuades. It is a huge eye opener especially if you are a visual person like me. Over the past five years I have been working with so many great artists around Saint Louis starting from Kristi Ponder an Art Teacher at Ritenour High School which I graduated from and completed my High School Diploma to David Kirkman the CEO of Firmament Productions. I have also had the chance to work with Red Fist Productions a film company that mainly focuses on Martial Arts founded by Matthew Kohler and Ritchie Waltkins. November 29/2017 Efra Images was launched a photography company that focuses on Studio Shots , Portraits , Birthdays , Weddings , Family , Nature , Skyscrapers , Modeling and Commercial Photography. On January 17 /2018 founded was Efra Films the sister company of Efra Imagess. Efra Films brings you the best motion picture in NewYork- Home of Entertainment Capital / NewJersey by focusing on genres like Crime-Thriller , Documentary , Action-Drama , Drama-Crime , Romantic-Comedy , Comedy and of course Ethiopian Film Industry in Amharic. The Term Efra came From Ephrata, Euphretes, First civilization in the Mediterranean Sea between the two rivers , second meaning , an old city in Jerusalem ,birth of Christ. However, I took the half word and named it Efra to me which means Empowerment, Creativity.
