About Dawson

Dawson has been to L.A. 2 years in a row for nominations for the Young Artist Awards and Won for His Performance as Best Male Actor under the Age of 10 for UBC's Student Film Little Big Kid.

Dawson Wins for Young Artist Awards 2012 for his film Bred in Captivity.

Dawson has also Won Best Male Actor for the Vancouver Short Film Festival (VSFF) for his Performance in a Short Film titled Trolls which can be seen on Movie Central, Bravo & Sundance Channel.

Dawson Dunbar was born on July 14th in Calgary, Alberta. By the time he was 3, he was signed with an Agent and pursuing his dream of acting. At age 7 he was signed with Lloyd Talent. Shortly thereafter, Dawson was given the opportunity to pursue larger markets where he was auditioning for local print ads and commercials.

Some of Dawson's television credits includes guest spots on Smallville, SuperNatural, Men in Trees and Aliens in America. He has also appeared in the short films DogBoy, The Escape of Conrad Lard-Bottom and Trolls. Dawson's made for television movie appearances includes Touch the Top of the World and Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss.

Dawson Wins Best Male Performer in the Fall 2010 in the Vancouver Short Film Festival (VSFF) in a Pro Short Film for is Role as Billy in the Short Film Trolls.

Dawson takes home a Young Artist Award for Best Male Performer under the age of 10 for his Role of Johnny in a Vancouver Short Little Big Kid in 2011.

Dawson is the brother of actor Talon Dunbar and would love to meet and work with Adam Sandler and Will Smith.

He is Currently Adding Drums, Swimming, Archery and Judo to his Resume.

Many of Dawson's Films are Circulating in Festivals Right Now.
