Born in Middlesborough, I studied English at Oxford University and then subsequently did an MA in ‘Scriptwriting’ at the Northern Film School. I spent several years working with physical theatre companies in Scotland and was a reader for STV and Carlton TV. Writing credits include ten episodes of ‘The Bill’, ‘Family Affairs’, developing projects with World Productions and Kudos. I am a contract writer on ‘Doctors’ and have written oer forty episodes to date. More recently I have been writing for ‘Casualty’ and am currently working with a Norwegian producer developing a thriller.
