Only Now Existing (O N E) is the work of James Garrett, a multi-talented singer, producer & songwriter whose 2 self-produced albums "Voodoo Doll" and "Escape Artist" feature a revolutionary blend of harmonies, electronic ambience, and powerful lyricism. Garrett's self-produced releases, and the creation of his independent record label, Vision Records, are the culmination of the artist's desire to create a truly connective sound, as well as a concept and an idea: O N E.

Garrett arrived on the scene with his debut album, "Voodoo Doll," an immediate success which featured a unique blend of genres and styles that appeal to anyone who loves music with substance. With his poignant songwriting and catch-lines such as “YOU’RE BEING LIED TO,” O N E has become Garrett's way of speaking with his audience from the heart and sharing his frustrations and his hopes for a purer existence. Central to Garrett's message is the idea that many people have lost their true selves in a sea of pernicious influences, and O N E is the full representation of the true self that they have lost. Fans have identified with this message and show their connection with their “O N E tattoos,” a marketing campaign and fashion statement in which fans send in a picture of themselves wearing the O N E temporary tattoo and in turn are featured on the website. Due to its raw emotion and cinematic feel, Only Now Existing’s music has generated the interest of filmmakers to use the music in their films, and O N E’s music has been featured in a variety of independent films. As such, Garrett is now in the process of working on a feature film made to his second release, "Escape Artist," as it is a concept-album written as a story and demands a cinematic film to enhance its concept and vision, somewhat in the style of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” a cinematic and visual manifestation of the album’s stories and concept.
