Born November 4th Theresa M. Kirtley came into this world with a rush of determination, Premature, and small enough to fit in her parent's hands.
Theresa Had her first taste of theatre when she was a tree in her school play when she was five. After that, she was Stage Manager in a production of Up the Down Staircase, and then Assistant Director in a production of Fame, both at her alma mater Hall High in Little Rock, AR.
After working for years at various places Theresa decided to go back to school and further her education, She found herself at Pulaski Technical College studying theatre. Her first production on stage acting was in August Wilson's The Piano Lesson. After that she played many roles, her best being the Tiger in Rajiv Joseph's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, which landed her a nomination in the KCACTF Irene Ryan competition.
Theresa soon found that she had an interest in costume design and went on to costume many shows for Pulaski Technical College, and received numerous awards from KCACTF. After graduating from Pulaski Tech, Theresa is now a student at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock where she is working towards her Bachelor's in theatre and has learned about her love for light design and light board operation.
In the future, Theresa plans on furthering her theatre career both on stage and behind the scenes.
