Tontxi Vazquez

Producer/Writer Tontxi Vazquez’s successful background in licensing rights- controlled film and photographic content (IP) to a global broadcast and publishing industry also culminated in partnering with a select of archives and libraries such as The Image Bank, Third Millennium Films, nonstock, Peter Arnold, FPG and to the acquisitions of several critically diverse niche collections, libraries and content producers. Vazquez is also a pioneer of web content programming as 1500 select from his prolific stills archive were first beta tested for online transmission and downloading in the late 80's by the Image Bank as well as developing meta-data and electronic licensing of media content.

Based in London he currently specializes in getting the best production value from micro and lower budget co-production feature films and documentaries. With a concentration on UK-based bi-lingual foreign language films with an emphasis on alternative depictions of people of color of diverse cultures, omissions in history and the female voice. I am attracted to seriously hip Urban intriguing stories and challenged by several passion projects for an international market.
We also script edit and help develop a diverse Diaspora of writers and crews.

Currently STOOPPIX/enGAGEital (IMP Ltd.) is developing a slate of projects including collaborations with writer/director/producer Vagabond Beaumont’s (AVT) creative documentaries HARLEM'S LAST POET and SIX SHOOTERS, CB-CB (working title) and Edward Albee protégé Franco D’Alessandro’s’ Internationally acclaimed stage play ANNA & TENNESSEE based on the relationship between artist and muse Tennessee Williams and Ana Magnani.
