Heather Leonard: Screenwriter and actor in Austin, Texas.

I'm coming back to Stage 32 after a few years away. I've been wandering around becoming an archeologist while keeping one toe stuck in the world of film, theater, and acting. I'm currently working on a sci-fi TV series project called "Gwyddion" to pitch just as soon as I get this pesky Masters in Archeology dissertation done this year (tracing the death sites of those buried in creepy remote Scottish graveyards and creating GIS maps...I like to joke my acting career is as dead as the people I study, but there's always hope).

"Gwyddion" is partially about archeology in space, but that's just a small part of it. The log-line is up on my profile if you want to learn more. I currently work as a high school ESOL teacher, but am working on transitioning either back into film and acting or maybe doing a PhD (down the road). I'd love to meet other sci-fi screenwriters or anyone else, really! Let's connect!
