Bob Franco founded Endorphin Productions Inc. twenty years ago to produce films for himself and his clients that range from local and national TV commercials, promos, web videos, to independent films. He quickly grew his business to the point where his company was capable of creating projects start to finish entirely in-house. More recently Pine Brothers national TV spots with Martha Stewart. Another spot with rapper Waka Flocka Flame, which went viral, was also, shot and edited by Bob.
Bob has directed documentaries, indie features, and many commercials. In the early days of online video his website,
, featured his interviews with the likes of Clint Eastwood, Malcom McDowell, Jay Leno, musicians Branford Marsalis, Joe Beck, Lou Rawls, The Average White Band, chefs Jacques Pepin, Bobby Flay, racing greats Mario and Michael Andretti, Dario Franchitti, and many others. Bob was lead editor during the Candid Camera run on CBS where it was a top 10 show. He supervised online edits as well and later did the finishing work in his own facility. More recently he edited Candid Camera again for TV Land. He produced the WWII documentary, Planes and Pilots, which played nationally for three years on PBS. The indie feature documentaries Jazz Nights (debuted at the Newport Beach film festival) and Dirt McComber, The Last of the Mohicans, were recently color corrected and graded by Bob. His latest feature film work has been as co-producer, editor, and cinematographer on Black Tar Road. Bob continues to work in both entertainment and business projects.

Editor BLACK TAR ROAD is a gritty, dark, love story between two women, Heather and Charlie, who meet at a desolate truck stop. Charlie McElroy (Amber Lee) is a drug mule, who mules drugs for an operation that is run out of an interstate truck stop. After Charlie hangs around town where she meets Heather Plath, (Noelle Messier) a hardened truck stop prostitute who's spent her life in the rural landscape. Few films are more despairing and yet, curiously, so hopeful as this one, which argues that even at the very end of the road, at the final extremity, we can find some solace in the offer and acceptance of love. These women fall in love with each other. Written by Abovo Productions
