James H Burns

Jim Burns has worked as a teacher and administrator since 1977. He is also an accomplished college instructor who teaches graduate level courses in the areas of Cooperative Discipline, Disability Awareness, and Brain Compatible Methods in the Classroom. Jim has just recently co-designed a new graduate level course; “The Bully Proof Classroom.” This course is available through The Regional Training Center in partnership with The College of New Jersey. He is available for consultation to schools and will evaluate any program to help create a bully free environment. He conducts parenting programs and has written several articles on the importance of helping parents raise children of character.
