Ryan Cunningham

I write scripts, children's stories, poetry, song lyrics.

I was born in Springfield Massachusetts in 1972. I found a passion for writing poetry and children’s stories. I took creative writing classes throughout my high school and college years in order to enhance my writing abilities.
My poetry and stories have been published in anthologies and magazines. I became a member of the SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and published an inspirational book of poems, titled “Angels Near and Far,” while living in Nevada. My children’s book,” Gary’s Gray World,” was published in July 2011.
I live on the coast of Oregon where I spend my time hiking the trails, playing video games with my nephew, spending quality time with family, and creating my personal web site, (,) to share my poems and stories with the world.
