Came out here from Miami Beach to try and write for movies or TV. Worked as a staff writer on Private Benjamin and wrote scripts for Laverne & Shirley and Webster. Also created a pilot for TV at CBS.
Like George Lucas I've been running around with a screenplay for nine years. It's about the birth of the worlds next great sage who is going to be a real tough sell as he's far from being the right candidate for the job. The piece has truly been through the ringer.
A lot of people loved it (producers)and some people didn't also (producers). Does that sound familiar fellow screenwriters? In any event I still haven't come across the one I need to sign a check but I'll keep trying.
