Sai Natarajan's Reel

This was a piece which I wrote following a small analysis of my orchestration process. With this piece, I wrote the melody first and then the ostinatos / chord progressions underneath. The method was very successful, and so I strive to do this as much as I can for any new tracks I write.

I wrote this piece after a month or so of writer's block. It begins in a smooth, calm atmosphere, then moves forward to a tense, fast-paced action-style score. It features heavy string ostinatos and plenty of brass! Enjoy!

This is a farewell piece I wrote for my computer science teacher, who left at the end of last year. He taught well. He created the best working environment I've ever experienced in my school life. He constantly inspired us and kept us motivated, which is why I wanted to inspire him in turn by creating a small farewell album - which this song was featured in. We all miss him this year, but we've wished him all the best for his position in his new school...as a music teacher!

This is a piece of music I wrote for "Kingdom Crashers," an upcoming Minecraft Server. This music will be featured in the cinematic trailer for the server. The Kingdom Crashers Lobby Music is also Work in Progress, and will be coming soon! For those of you who haven't heard of Minecraft, it's a unique sandbox video game based on mining/placing blocks to build and craft items... and ultimately building your own cube empire.
