About Edward

Ted Sharon is senior faculty in the Department of Theatre and Dance at The State University in New York - Fredonia. He writes, produces and directs video productions for university and corporate clients. His work also includes projects funded by the National Science Foundation in cooperation with the Center for Layered Polymeric Systems at Case Western Reserve University and multiple projects for the Big Read funded by National Endowment for the Arts.

Ted’s on work on stage has been seen on Broadway in Disney’s Aladdin and Disney’s Newsies, and Off Broadway at Theatre for a New Audience in Brooklyn. His work has also been seen at the Miracle Theatre in Tennessee, The Yakov Smirnoff Show in Missouri, Sight and Sound Theatres in Pennsylvania, the California Shakespeare Festival, Boston Lyric Opera, the Chautauqua Theatre Company of New York, the Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis, the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., and internationally in Italy, Taiwan R.O.C. and mainland China.

He is a graduate of Brigham Young University (BA), Boston University College of Fine Arts (MFA) and completed an internship at the American Repertory Theatre and Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University.
