Marilyn Marchetti

Marilyn Marchetti has a passion for storytelling. She has written award-winning features and written, directed, and produced several shorts. Marilyn has had the advantage of working in several different positions on feature films early in her career, where she developed a clear “big picture” knowledge of all aspects of filmmaking. She also attended filmmaking classes at UCLA and USC. Marilyn currently has a documentary, PSYCHEDELICS AND MENTAL HEALTH, in post-production. Her current projects are; OCEANSIDE PLACE, a psychological thriller/horror (like GET OUT); THE HAUNTING PAST (like GHOST) a supernatural thriller that was a semi-finalist in the Sundance Table Read My Screenplay competition; and THE SECOND SILENCE, a mini-series that is a true story that follows a young woman’s escape from the Holocaust, only to suffer from the atrocities of the 'dirty wars’ of Argentina. Marilyn tells stories that are visually stimulating, engaging, and memorable. She believes motion pictures have a way of touching people’s lives in a way that can make a difference in our world.
