Susan Brennan is co-producer of the short film One Day Home. Also a screenwriter, she wrote the script for the award winning, million-plus hits web series, Verse, a poetry murder mystery. As first place winner of the Tribeca/Amex My Movie Pitch Contest, her story pitch was adapted for the short film, Doggy Bags, created by Edward Burns, and premiered in the Tribeca Film Festival. With Amir Naderi, she co-wrote Vegas – Based on a True Story which premiered in competition at the Venice and Tribeca Film Festivals. She is also a poet, has curated poetry programming at Wilco’s Solid Sound Music Festival at MASS MoCA. Currently, with circus artists, she is staging her poem about Georges Seurat’s last days.
