Born December 24th 1988 in Flint Michigan, where he graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 2007. His Music career began in the 4th grade, Alto Saxophone. Throughout high school he played with the GBHS Marching band as well as the Wind Ensemble with Baritone Saxophone, which then became his main instrument. During high school he was also apart of the Flint Institute of Music and their Flint youth Wind Ensemble and the Flint Youth Symphony Orchestra for four years, picking up the Clarinet, Violin, Piano, Guitar and Flute which he was able to play in a variety of Ensembles throughout his high school career. With his need to write music Matthew wrote his first Symphony called “Der Sönner Shinne Man” in 2005. With exceptional scores with Solo and Ensemble and State Solo and Ensemble, Matthew took his talent and love for music to Eastern Michigan University. Matthew finished his degree April 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media/Films studies with a Concentration in Film Studies and a Minor in German Language and Business; German language because as of 2012 Matthew has been speaking Deutsch for nearly 12 years. During his undergrad he was under the direction of Dr. Henry Aldrigde, Professor Keith Damron and Dr. John Cooper. After graduation Matthew interviewed with CEO of Shooter Entertainment John Gerds, as a production assistant, and worked an Executive Assistant Manager of Operations for Shooter Entertainment. After departing with Shoot Entertainment, Matthew hired on with Paula Fournier to work as a third assistant director for his first film entitled "Sand Castles: A Story of Family and Tragedy" by Oceanus Pictures. Now Matthew is an associate producer with Paula Fournier in the metro Detroit area.
Now striving towards making more films and music videos, he has moved from a PA to 3rd AD and Scripty, to working with Hollywood's best in Michigan. With love for Music and his passion for Film, Matthew is striving towards making Detroit the next Hollywood
