About Diane


Diane Wagner has a BA in English from DeSales University and an MFA in Acting from Louisiana State University. As a member of Actor’s Equity, Diane performed in numerous productions across the country. Some of her favorite roles include Kate in Dancing at Lughnasa, Portia in The Merchant of Venice, the Angel in Angels in America and Katherina in The Taming of the Shrew. In 1998, Diane performed at the Kennedy Center as Martha in LSU’s award winning production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf. She’s taught acting at Louisiana State University, DeSales University, Northampton Community College, The William Reynolds Agency in Atlanta, Georgia, and Image Model and Talent Agency in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is currently the Artistic Director of Theatre at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in her hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

In 2006, her play, The Pirate King, had a staged reading at L.A.’s Celebration Theatre. In 2014, Diane and her writing partner, Tug Rice, co-wrote, produced and starred in the spec pilot for the original comedy series, Goody Goody. That same year she and Tug wrote 8 episodes of Science Time, an educational children’s series for PBS39. Diane and Tug recently completed Goody Goody: Book the First, which will be available on Amazon in 2017.

Diane has extensive experience as a voice actor, and she continues to work professionally in both Theatre and Film. Her most recent credit is Mary Jankowski in Getting Grace, a film by directed by and starring Daniel Roebuck, to be released in 2017.
