Teri Carson was born in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico. She studied art, film, photography and languages and in 2001 she attended film school in San Diego where she wrote, produced and directed several award-winning short films.
Her awards and honors include winning first prize for her short scripts Poly Esther, Chucky’s Feast, her feature screenplay Ratacholo and a coveted spot on the prestigious Telluride Film Festival Student Symposium. Her short films have been shown at festivals around the world and at curated film exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego. Her latest short film Heartbreak in 209 Cuts is on the festival circuit.
