About Christine

Originally from Chicago where I studied my craft as an actor and worked in many, many plays. I also studied under Jo Forsberg of Second City Chicago. After several short stints with other comedy groups I joined Just Kidding. We played almost every comedy club in Chicago and surrounding areas for many years. We also had a 27 week run on WCFL radio as their "Comedy Break" segment. Shortly after moving to L. A. I was cast in a play in which I played five different characters. It was very well received and we performed in various venues on and off for almost a decade. I studied with Judith Weston, author of Directing Actors, for many years until she closed her studio several years ago. I was involved with First Stage Theater for 8+ years. They were one of the first theaters to hold script reading nights for the public. I've been in many independent films. Currently I am a member of We Make Movies. For more information about what they do you can go to wemakemovies.org. They had a short film challenge in which I was one of the six finalists - and the only woman writer! That film, THE BOOK CLUB has been shot and is now being submitted to film festivals. I wrote, produced and starred in this film. I have been writing (mainly short stories, sketches and skits) for myself for a number of years and have now expanded my interests to also write shorts and indie films. This will give me more opportunity to act as well as explore the script writer within. That's it so far. I am excited to see what the future holds.
