About Sash

Sash Andranikian is recognized for contributions he has made as a film director, as well as a commercial, music video and animation director. He received his first accolade for directing a short film "From Evening to Evening", which was awarded the Grand Prize for the Best Animated Film. His music video “Flowers”, an elegant combination of live-action and animation earned him numerous international awards, including Grand Prizes and Special Jury Prizes, hitting the top of the charts and receiving nationwide acclaim. His other memorable work includes “Behind Bars" - a hip hop music video for Def Jam Records featuring noted rapper Slick Rick and highly publicized “Get High, Get Stupid, Get AIDS” PSA and music video for The Ad Council’s Aids Awareness Campaign featuring rock star, Melissa Etheridge.

This skilled director is also well respected by the advertising industry for directing over seventy influential television commercials and received national attention for creating numerous innovative and entertaining commercials for At&T, Fisher-Price, EMI Records, Chase Visa, HBO, Macy’s, FSA, Hasbro, Club Med, Samsung, LG and Pepsi to mention a few.

Andranikian’s live-action short 9/11 drama “October Haze” was screened at Cannes International Film Festival and his romantic comedy feature film “All That Jam” starring Chris Owen, Martin Dingle Wall, and Svetlana Khodchenkova was well-received Internationally and has been distributed on Amazon Prime streaming services. Sash Andranikian has also written several feature film screenplays and continues to widen his horizons by exploring different genres. At the moment he’s filming a feature documentary “Kids Not Included” and planning to start production on his sci-fi feature “Glitchfield”.
