Meredith McKee

I am a North Carolina-based actress, director, vocalist, and graphic designer. With over 10 years of experience in the theatre world at a local level, understanding the nuances of character work and overall production management is my passion. Additionally, I have two years of experience in film, including work on and off camera in Wilmington, NC. Finally, I have a passion for digital and social media, particularly when it comes to promoting artistic projects and creators.

I am an after-school theatre teacher at Fine Arts Enhancement program in New Bern, NC and regularly substitute teach the local high school drama classes. When I work with young people, my goal is to build a foundation and an easy-to-reference process for each student, whether they are aspiring actors or production team members. We study theatre in the context of history around the world, defining the main elements of any stage story, and the finer nuances of turning an internal emotion to an external expression as clearly as possible.
