I recently made the leap from screenwriter to filmmaker, but I'll always be a writer at heart. I've written everything from crime-drama to comedy to sci-fi features and TV pilots. I love dark, gritty, grounded worlds and flawed characters that connect with people. I also love to find humor and levity within the darkness. Ultimately, I'm just trying not to put myself in a box or a specific category. I enjoy telling powerful stories, and that's what I strive to do in whatever genre serves the story.
