Expand postMy name is John March and I am a Producer, Sound Mixer, post production supervisor, technologist and AV consultant with over 35 years in the Industry, and I am currently focused entirely on developing opportunities that utilize my aggregate skill-sets, and diverse professional experience, to creatively solve problems for projects and events that serve the greater good. So, what does all that mean exactly? lol... Well, I have been working as an AV technical consultant for Film, TV, Games, Music and sound, for most of my life. I have worked on "both sides of the glass", and I have a clear understanding of how to make things happen. I love solving problems and fixing things. I also love the collaborative creative process. I have expertise in Protools and many other DAW's, a huge SFX library for design, High level skills in Final Cut and Premiere, etc...I am also a working session Musician, having worked in NYC and LA these last 35 years and have access to an incredible talent pool of musicians, arrangers, Singers, VO talent and much more. By bridging the gap between artist and technical craftsman, I am able to help solve complex problems and function as a liaison between fiscal, technical, logistical and creative team members. My specialties include Protools/Daws, Finalcut, Sound design, sound mixing, music editing, ADR, VR and Haptics, developing operational methodology and utilizing cutting-edge and evolving technologies, advanced creative problem solving and consulting, as well as training, workflow design and team building. I was originally trained at the Record Plant in NYC, and got to work with some of the best musicians in the world like Michael Jackson and Sting, also worked as the Lead mixer for Fox Family Channel, Director of Audio Operations for TCI International’s interactive division, designing recording studios, and working on many large-scale productions for entertainment corporations such as Warner Bros, DreamWorks, and Oracle. Although the initial focus of my work was music, audio production and post-production, I have always operated at the cutting edge of technological possibility and production. As a serious technologist with a strong ability to realize technological and production methodologies and solutions, as well as develop and manage teams of production and design personnel, my top priority is always to bring out the best in the people I work with, in order to create the best possible end product. My main operating principle has always been that “Everything works out in the end, and if it is not working out, it is not the end!” If you are working on a project and need help with the sound, or are trying to design or implement workflow strategies to start or finish a project, contact me and I am happy to help! (To my Colorado community: I look forward to hearing from you and finding ways to collaborate!) Best regards John March

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
