Steven Orlyk

Filled with a passion to tell stories for the screen, I have written several screenplays that have received positive feedback. My drama, "Of Broken Wings", was a top ten finisher in the 2005 Final Draft Big Break! Competition. It also won Best Drama at the 2009 Chicago Screenwriters Network Contest. I am currently working on rewrites for my comedy-drama screenplay, "Forty-Five", which made both the quarterfinals of Scriptapalooza 2016 and the second round of the Austin Film Festival Contest. My desire is to continue to learn to write compelling and unique stories to reach a wider audience.
